The Image Infotainment Ltd is not liable for any infringement in using private information of a user displayed on the imediajobs.in Web site or any of its other Web sites/domains. At the same time, we at Image Infotainment Ltd does not intend to share any personal information of an user with any other entity, without the permission of the concerned.

General Users' Policies

  • Shall not spam the database maintained by imediajobs.in/Image Infotainment Ltd or forward mails that may be considered spam. If an user violates this clause, then Image Infotainment Ltd shall entitle to terminate all services to the user without notice.
  • Shall not upload, post, or transmit any information that is against the law, or that is considered to be harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, vulgar, obscene, racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Shall expressly state any information provided is correct in all respects and does not contain any fraudulent information. Also, the user shall agree to cover any losses incurred by Image Infotainment Limited because of the fraudulent information or objectionable averment thus provided by the user on our Web sites.
  • Shall be solely responsible for holding the User ID and Password confidentially.
  • Shall agree that he/she abides by the requirements of the Information Technology Act, 2000 as also rules, regulations, guidelines, bye laws and notifications made there under, In case of any violation of rules and regulations under the Information Technology Act 2000, the user shall be liable for civil and criminal liability there under or under any other law for the time being in force.
  • Shall assure that the contact e-mail IDs provided as part of the contact details are genuine and access to such email accounts is only available for the authorised personnel.
  • Shall be prohibited to upload, post, update, or share any information that:

Job Seekers Policies

By posting, submitting, or uploading your resume with imediajobs.in, as a user, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

  • The user is not a minor and is not under any legal or other disability that limits his/her ability to comply with these Terms or to install and use the services provided.
  • The user agrees to his/her profile information being searched by employers.
  • The information and the resume as a document can be updated only by the respective user, free of cost. A user shall not upload or update the details of any other user by using his/her own user account or some other user account.
  • Information updates made by the user shall be reflected in the Web site only after 24-48 hours of such changes/modifications being made.
  • Image Infotainment Ltd reserves the right to modify/edit the information order or the format in order to fit the resume in its database.
  • Image Infotainment Ltd shall not warranty a job or response or satisfactory responses in return of submitting the profile/resume. Also, Image Infotainment Ltd shall not assure the authenticity of any response received by the user.
  • Image Infotainment Ltd shall not be liable if a user is asked to go out of station nor pay any amount in order to get a job. It is the responsibility of the user to check the authenticity of the responses received and take necessary actions, as per the user's discretion.
  • Image Infotainment Ltd shall not certify the credentials, bonafides, status, or otherwise of the employer/organization that downloads the user's profile or access any user information/data.
  • Image Infotainment Ltd shall not be liable for loss of any data provided by the user because of reasons that are beyond Image Infotainment Ltd's reasonable control, like corruption of data, or delay or failure of performance because of unexpected or uncontrollable cause(s) including but not limited to natural calamities, war, strikes, civil unrest, riots, change in Government policies, and virus attacks.
  • Image Infotainment Ltd reserves the right to remove the resumes of an user, without any notice, if the user uploads multiple resumes beyond a reasonable limit by using the same or different user accounts.
  • Image Infotainment Ltd reserves the right to reject and delete a resume or any information fed in by the user, without mentioning a reason.
  • To access a user account, Image Infotainment Ltd shall assign a password to each user. Image Infotainment Ltd shall not be responsible for the safety of the password. It is the due responsibility of each user to maintain a safe password and shall the user, not Image Infotainment Ltd, be responsible for any data loss/theft of data/corruption of data or the wrong usage/misuse of the password and any damage or leak of information and its consequential usage by a third party. However, Image Infotainment Ltd commits to take all reasonable precautions to ensure that there is no leakage/misuse of the password of any user. A user can subscribe to receive e-mail alerts on job openings matching his/her profile. Image Infotainment Ltd match jobs against the keywords/attributes present in the profile submitted by the user, by using an automated algorithm, and thus neither guarantees nor warranties the job relevance and credentials of the respective employer/organization.
  • The e-mail alerts will be sent to the e-mail ID submitted at the time of subscription or any further updated ones. Image Infotainment does not hold responsible for the accuracy of the mail IDs. It is the sole responsibility of the users to enter the correct e-mail ID.
  • Image Infotainment Ltd shall not be responsible for failure of any backend technology of mail exchange server resulting in failure of transferring mails.
  • Image Infotainment Ltd reserves the right to control the number of jobs (alerts) sent through e-mails, on a single day.
  • A user receiving job alerts through e-mails shall not claim copyright or other Intellectual Property Right over the data uploaded by him/her on the Web site.
  • All disputes arising out of the transactions between a user and Image Infotainment Ltd will be resolved in accordance with the laws of India as applicable.

Policies Related to Employers

By posting or uploading job opening(s) on imediajobs.in, an employer assures that they will abide by the following terms and conditions.

  • The employer has obtained all licenses/permits that are necessary for recruitment and to indemnify Image Infotainment Ltd against all claims, damages arising out of actions/claims that may be made in relation to the same.
  • The employer/recruiter shall be assigned password(s) by Image Infotainment Ltd to access the respective account in imediajobs.in and post vacancies. In this case, the employer/recruiter holds the sole responsibility to hold a safe password and Image Infotainment Ltd shall not be responsible for any data loss/theft of data/corruption of data or the wrong usage/misuse of the password and any damage or leak of information and its consequential usage by a third party. However, Image Infotainment Ltd strives to take reasonable precautions to ensure that there is no leakage of the password granted to an employer/recruiter.
  • Image Infotainment Ltd reserved the right to make few modifications, especially but not only formatting changes, in order to fit the job opening details in its database.
  • The employer shall provide a maximum of two e-mail IDs for collecting responses to the vacancies posted on imediajobs.in. Also, the contact information given by an employer for all job openings should be the same.
  • The employer shall assure that the jobs advertised on imediajobs.in are in existence, and are genuine. Also, the subscriber/recruiter who has provided/uploaded the openings has the authority to advertise for such jobs.
  • The employer/subscriber/recruiter shall not charge any fee from any individual who responds to jobs advertised on imediajobs.in for processing of applications/responses from such person.
  • All information provided by the employer and displayed on imediajobs.in is open to all public and Image Infotainment Ltd at its sole discretion may display the vacancy intimated by an employer on imediajobs.in or any other media including the print media at no extra costs. In such cases, Image Infotainment Ltd shall not be held liable for usage/publicity of any such information.
  • Image Infotainment Ltd shall place the information relating to vacancies in the Hot Vacancies and such other Classified sections on imediajobs.in without any extra cost to the subscriber/user.
  • Image Infotainment Ltd does not assure any response or satisfactory response for the job opening posted by any employer. In case of responses received, Image Infotainment is not responsible for the authenticity of the response. It is the due responsibility of the employer to verify the responses received.
  • Image Infotainment Ltd shall not be liable for any loss of data, technical or otherwise, information, particulars supplied by the subscriber, that happened because of the reasons beyond control, like corruption of data or delay or failure to perform as a result of any causes or conditions that are beyond Image Infotainment Ltd's reasonable control including but not limited to strike, riots, civil unrest, Govt. policies, tampering of data by unauthorized persons like hackers, war and natural calamities.
  • Image Infotainment Ltd shall reject any job opening detail or related information provided by the subscriber, without mentioning any reason either before uploading or after uploading.
  • Image Infotainment Ltd reserves its right to alter the look and feel of the portal, at any point in time, without mentioning any reason or prior notice.
  • The employer/recruiter using the imediajobs.in shall not claim any copyright or other Intellectual Property Rights over the data uploaded on the Web site.
  • All disputes arising between a user and Image Infotainment Ltd will be resolved in accordance with the laws of India as applicable.
  • All Disputes arising between a user and Image Infotainment Ltd will be subject to the jurisdiction of Courts situated in Chennai alone.

Policies Related to Display of Banners

  • Image Infotainment Ltd prepare the banners displayed on imediajobs.in, as per the instructions received from the client and shall not be liable for users misappropriation of the Trade Mark/ Copyright or any other Intellectual Property Right sought to be passed of as that of the user.
  • Image Infotainment Ltd agrees to display the banners of clients, only for a period of time as agreed with the client and to the best of its ability.
  • Image Infotainment Ltd shall display the banners of the clients on all the relevant part of the site.
  • Image Infotainment Ltd shall reject a banner or any related information provided by the subscriber, without mentioning any reason. In case of rejection or termination of the banner display service, Image Infotainment Ltd, at its sole discretion, may reimburse the amount paid for the service on a pro-rata basis.
  • Image Infotainment Ltd does not assure any response or satisfactory response on the banners displayed.
  • Image Infotainment Ltd shall not be responsible for any loss of information/data that is technical or non technical, or any particulars supplied by the client; due to the reasons beyond control, like corruption of data or delay or failure to perform as a result of any causes or conditions that are beyond Image Infotainment Ltd's reasonable control including, but not limited to, natural calamities, war, strike, riots, civil unrest, updated Government policies, or tampering of data by unauthorized persons like hackers. In case of a paid service, Image Infotainment Ltd shall only provide the service after receiving the respective amount either from the client or from a third party on behalf of the client.
  • The client does not hold the right to re-sale or transfer the service to any other individual or a corporate body.
  • The client of these services does not claim any copyright, trade mark or other Intellectual Property Right over the data uploaded by him/her on the Web site.
  • All disputes arising out between a user and Image Infotainment Ltd will be resolved in accordance with the laws of India as applicable.
  • All Disputes arising between a user and Image Infotainment Ltd will be subject to the jurisdiction of Courts situated in Chennai alone.

Policies Related to RSS (Really Simple Syndication)

  • Image Infotainment Ltd provides this service, free of cost. This service is only targeted at individuals and non-commercial users.
  • Image Infotainment Ltd is not responsible for the accuracy of the content provided through the RSS feeds, as they are just displayed as supplied by various recruiters, recruitment agencies, and other such sources
  • The user shall not edit the content provided through this service, without the concern of Image Infotainment Ltd. If the user wants to use the content for any non-personal/commercial purposes, the user requires obtaining specific written permission, prior to commencing such usage. To obtain such permissions, please contact legal@imediajobs.in.
  • Image Infotainment Ltd reserves all proprietary rights over the content that is being made available as RSS feeds, including copyrights, trademark, and so on.
  • Image Infotainment Ltd reserves the right to cease the RSS feed service or restrict the users access the RSS feeds without mentioning any reason.

Policies Related to Anti Spam

The services provided though imediajobs.in is intended at employment solutions and shall be restricted only to contact the appropriate job seekers for genuine jobs that are truly in existence. Image Infotainment Ltd strictly prohibits the use of the services for any marketing or promotional mailing practices, or sending any spam mails/messages with misleading subject lines in order to intentionally obscure the original message.

In case of any violation of the above mentioned policy, Image Infotainment Ltd reserves the right to terminate the services to the respective client, without any prior notice. In such a case, any related amount shall not be refunded.

  • Voluntary bulk messages/commercial communications
  • Non job related mails
  • Messages with inappropriate/misleading subject lines
  • Bulk e-mails
  • Misleading/fraudulent e-mails
  • Mails soliciting payments
  • Mails inquiring credit card details
