Cover Letter for Experienced

A cover letter accompanies a CV (and/or completed application form). It's an opportunity to highlight what's in your CV and to provide real examples to support your ability to do the job. Some recruiters place more emphasis on the cover letter than the CV so it pays to take care with it.

Dear Mr. Parker

I am writing to apply for the position of Lead Flash Programmer at XYZ Computers Pvt. Ltd, as advertised in the Times of India Daily on 17 February, 2012.

I am a Senior Flash programmer backing 6 years of experience in the same field. For the past four years, I have been completely working on e-learning courses. I am proficient in creating highly interactive pages and assessments. One of the courses I have worked on has won the ‘Brandon Hall’ award.

I am sure my proficiency in using various rapid e-learning tools like Articulate and Captivate, and Adobe Flash will be most suitable for this role. I can work with LMS and LCMS, and can abide by the client requirements. I can follow Storyboards and will contribute my ideas during Design meetings with GDs and IDs. I believe I can help the XYZ Computers accomplish its goal of providing the best learning experience.

Enclosed is my resume with more details. It would be great if I can meet you up in person to discuss my suitability for this position.

Thank you for taking your time considering my candidature.
